I have been away from the shop again this week, and Ian and I have enjoyed a few more day trips!
We visited beautiful RHS Wisley and enjoyed a full day there wandering around.  We were really lucky that it only started to rain as we were walking back to the car.  We’ve also had some good days gardening and keeping it all up together – two pairs of hands really make light work.
Here’s a photo of me at Wisley all dressed in Karen George of course, with my new white camera bag!  It’s amazing how much you can fit in them.
I’m not sure if those of you who are local, have ever eaten at the Darbar Indian Restaurant in Emsworth, but we had lunch there on Tuesday and it was delicious.  I can’t believe that they have also been open for six years and it was our first visit!  I don’t think it will be our last either!
As you know our house is on the market and we had a viewing this week – it really is a slow process and you have to be very patient.  The market is difficult at the moment and a further rise in interest rates hasn’t helped.  We are happy just waiting to see what happens – it did mean we had to tidy up though and we were so pleased that we had spent some time gardening.
Friday was such a gorgeous day that we stayed local and walked along to Lee on Solent.  We bumped in to a lovely couple who regularly visit the shop from Alton!  What a small world.
So it’s back to the shop next week and I look forward to seeing you all.
Have a good week, look out for each other and be kind.
