Thankfully, by Saturday I was testing negative and feeling so much better. I even managed a trip to London on Sunday to walk around Olympia at the Pure and Scoop fashion buying event.
We took it slow and steady and as soon as I arrived home I was ready to rest again, in plenty of time to watch the football. It was very disappointing, but what an achievement to have reached the final.
I worked my usual days Monday to Wednesday but unfortunately, Lyn hadn’t recovered and so I worked on Friday and Annie covered Saturday. I’m keeping everything crossed that we are back to normal for next week, as the sale is going well – lots of bargains going home and still plenty to be had.
On Thursday whilst Annie worked, I went to Bournemouth to see the Robell collection for next summer. A few pretty prints and new colours secured for next year.
So as I say, it has been a topsy turvy week and the weather has been much the same! We’ve gone from selling jumpers and cardigans to summer dresses and tops within a matter of days. Let’s see what next week brings.
