Well, last Sunday afternoon revived our grass at least! We had a good spell of rainfall – what a shame for those at the Isle of Wight Festival, but they had been very lucky to have reached the very last day before the rain came.
I was excited to get back to the shop on Monday – especially in the beautiful sunshine. I immediately gathered together items for the windows and these just seemed to come together very easily. That is not always the case, trust me!
I had some lovely days, I also rearranged a little inside – oh yes, and we now have some very simple elasticated belts which are a great accessory for dresses. I did also get some suitable for trousers/jeans and they are all really reasonably priced.
Summer dresses and sandals have been selling well this week – I’m not sure if I have shared this dress before, but don’t you think it looks really summery and fresh?
I’ve been enjoying my garden this last few days, BBQs, friends visiting and generally just lazing around! That does, however, mean that a pile of ironing awaits me.
