Tidy up

I was at the shop on Tuesday and Wednesday – it was relatively quiet, so I had a bit of a sort out and tidy up.  I was pleased to sell a dress from the sale window which I had literally just put in there. The lady was so pleased as she’d been looking for a dress for some time and this one was exactly what she’d been looking for.  I love it when that happens, and a bargain too!

I had a walk around the pond on Wednesday morning which I hadn’t done for some time since before Christmas.  It enjoyed it – I always see a couple of customers out walking and of course the ducks and swans.

I received an email from Robell to say they have despatched some Spring/Summer trousers and the Happy jackets already! Thank heavens we have tidied up and made some space to store it all.

I met with a friend in Whiteley on Thursday for lunch, and we had a look around the shops.  I don’t often go shopping and it was a nice opportunity to see what is already out there.  The colour pink was everywhere and plenty of sales.

I have also spent a lot of my time adding the new stock onto our stocksheets and obtaining images ready to load onto the website – it is a very time consuming exercise, so I am trying to get ahead of the game ready for when it all arrives at the shop!

Nothing very exciting happens now until the new season starts arriving – here’s a peek at one of the Adini dresses for the Spring – roll on the dry, warm weather and holidays!  I will of course announce just as soon as the new stock is in – it is worth checking on Facebook and Instagram for daily updates if you can’t wait until the Sunday email!
