Happy New Year!
So today we start a fresh New Year with new hopes and dreams to fulfil. A blank canvas to paint – what will be on yours? Aside from the obvious of wishing that my family and friends keep safe and healthy, Ian and I plan to have more day trips out together on the motorbike. We want to visit and explore new places and generally make the most of life, rather than sitting around so much, watching life pass us by!
As far as the shop is concerned I am planning to find some new, additional accessories and possibly introduce some new brands. Don’t worry, I will always stock Marble, Adini and Caprice but would love to enhance the range with some other choices. The shows are all coming up in January so I will be busy researching – I’m very excited about it.
We opened as promised at 10am last week, but to be honest the weather was poor and there really weren’t many people out shopping. It was a bit of an experiment, and most days we closed by 1pm latest. So I think next year, we will revert to closing between Christmas and New Year. It is aways a funny “in between” time, when you feel in limbo isn’t it?
So we open again on Tuesday – I’ll be putting all of the decorations to bed for another year and reviewing our sale items – maybe adding in a few pieces to clear, all ready for the new season arrivals!
