What a difference the sunshine makes.  Such a shame that it was so wet yesterday for the Coronation, but I believe it is to be better today to enjoy the celebrations for the rest of this bank holiday weekend.
I’ve met some lovely customers this week, some regulars and some new!  So welcome to those new to these emails, and I must say a big congratulations to one of my ladies who has recently become a grandmother to a beautiful boy who has been named Arthur! She was bursting with pride – he came early and she was thrilled to share a picture with me.  How wonderful – Arthur was my fathers name and consequently we gave to George, as a middle name, so there’ll be no excuses for me remembering this new baby’s name.
Speaking of George, I am often asked how he is doing and I am pleased to say very well – he is enjoying his appenticeship, working hard and enjoying the money!  I can’t believe that he’ll be 17 this month, so he’ll be needing that money once he is driving.
There is much excitement and trepidation at home, because we have decided to put our house on the market – we don’t plan to go far.  We have been busy cleaning, tidying and gardening and it is looking good – the downside is that we have to keep it that way for viewings!!
I’ll leave you with this dress from Adini – this fabulous Jungle Flower print dress is great for travelling as it requires no ironing.  There is also an optional tunic in the same print which works well as a jacket.
Have a good week – look out for each other and be kind.  Sending you lots of love, good health and best wishes.
