Of course, today is Easter Sunday and we are enjoying a bank holiday weekend, so the shop will be open again on Tuesday.
Today is also our business financial year end and I have been reviewing the figures. They don’t make brilliant reading but we are still hanging in there. I am so grateful to all of you that rallied to my plea for help when I launched into the half price winter sale. Cashflow had completely dried up and I feared that we were going to have to close. This radical action certainly helped the situation at that time.
It was crazy busy at first, and of course, as expected it has gradually become less so. I remain optimistic that we’ll get back on our feet but it is going to take time and support. This past couple of weeks have slowed down further – not helped by awful weather, so please do remember us and call in for a browse or check out the website before looking further afield. Small independents are becoming few and far between, and I want to be one of the last ones standing and therefore busy enough to survive long term and to come out the other side stronger than ever.

There are still some bargains to be snapped up too! These new silver sandals are sooooo comfy and they have a removeable, machine washable insole!
I’m very excited because our family are visiting from Scotland next week – I am still working Tuesday and Wednesday and will have the rest of the week to spend with them all.
We are anticipating a final delivery from a new brand to us called Dress Addict, so I look forward to showcasing that upon my return.
