What a difference the sunshine makes! Oh my goodness I had a fabulous few days at the shop – so good to be busy and seeing everyone buying summer clothing and footwear! At one point I was in the middle of serving three different customers and more were coming in – don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining – I absolutely love it!
Consequently, there was a delay in getting to the window display but I managed to squeeze it in on Tuesday afternoon and tidied up inside on Wednesday. I’ve opted for a striking royal/navy blue and white theme which I think always looks crisp and fresh on these sunny days. I see that the rest of the week looks likely to be more overcast, but I’m hoping the sun will peep through from time to time.
I’m not sure if any of you caught my Facebook live event last Sunday, where I was clearing some half price boots – there were some genuine bargains if I had your size left. I copied it over to Instagram too, so if you didn’t see it, search it up either on our Facebook page or find us on Instagram, and if you see anything of interest do get in touch. It was a bit spontaneous but I did sell a few pairs. I suddenly decided to do the live before I put them all away in to storage until next Autumn. Next time I will give more advance notice.

Wasn’t it a beautiful day on Saturday? We enjoyed our first evening in the garden with a little tipple followed by a curry – just how we love to enjoy a bank holiday weekend.
We will be closed tomorrow for the Bank Holiday but open again on Tuesday. Do have a lovely weekend – I hope the weather holds out for us.
