A short week for me with Monday being a Bank Holiday, and it was generally a quiet couple of days.
I did enjoy dressing the windows with some bunting to celebrate VE Day. It is so important that we recognise 80 years of our freedom and to thank, and remember those who provided it for us.
We received the balance of our Adini order on Wednesday which is their high summer delivery – it includes sleeveless vest tops, jacquard cotton tops, a tunic and three more dresses. They have been added to the website so head across to the new arrivals page to see them. These sleeveless vest tops are such a useful item to have in your wardrobe for the hotter days. We have this top in navy or white.
Another good spell of weather is forecast so some of these sleeveless and cotton items will be very useful.
Lyn and I are attending a ladies coffee morning at Lee on Solent Golf Club on Monday where we will take some stock to hopefully sell, but more importantly create awareness that Karen George exists. Spreading the word about the shop and our website and social media presence is all part of our ongoing survival.
Karen is holding the fort for us on Monday and I’ll be back Tuesday as normal.
