Well it certainly was a beautiful week – I was quiet in the shop on Monday so I was able to redress the windows and the inside displays on the same day!  I did have a visit from an old school friend with her mum, which was lovely, and being quiet meant I was able to spend time to chat.
Tuesday was madness!  I don’t think I sat down all day, but luckily I was wearing my new Caprice sandals so my feet were fine.  It was just a wonderful steady day – I spent almost two hours with one very sweet lady who had been dropped in to Emsworth by her grandson because she wanted an outfit to wear to her cousins birthday party.  She left with shoes, two pairs of trousers, two tops and a jacket!!  She was very happy to top up her wardrobe with two new outfits.  It was a joy to spend time and help her, she was a real character – then I ordered her a taxi and she was on her way.
Wednesday was quieter but I did have a visit from a couple of regular ladies who always support the shop and read my emails – so hello to you!  I put a poster in the window for them for a charity football match happening at Fratton Park tomorrow.  It’s the Pompey Legends vs Alan Knight Celebrity XI.  They are raising funds and awareness in the fight against prostate cancer so if you find yourself at a loose end you can obtain tickets online, and kick off is at 2pm. It is just £1 for kids!
The rest of the week was slow and steady – dresses have certainly been more popular this week thanks to the good weather.
Lots of people are out walking in this beautiful weather, so I thought I would share a pair of our new Caprice leather trainers – perfect for those walks!
I hope the good weather continues and that we see you soon!
Take care of each other and be kind.
