Nothing much to report this week – the shop continues to be in sale but it has been less busy, as always during the holiday period.
As you know Lyn and Annie covered the week between them whilst I entertained our family who visited from Scotland. It was lovely for my mother-in-law to see them. We did enjoy some gorgeous weather and visited Gun Wharf for lunch in the sun and the boys managed a couple of rounds of golf.
The house feels so quiet now that they’ve left, and next week is going to be strange at home because George is off on his first Volkswagen course for a week in Milton Keynes. Ian and I will be lost!
I have this little dress which is now in the sale – it’s been really useful and cool to wear on warmer days and it’s knee length – so many dresses are too long which is a common compaint. I have tried to source shorter lengths for next year but they are quite difficult to find.
I’m looking forward to see what we have left and will start preparations for the new autumn arrivals. Next week, Annie is off and Lyn is going away at the weekend, so my days are a bit different, I’ll be in on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so come on in folks and keep me busy!!
