Yes, it is that time again – when you read this, I will probably be eating breakfast at Goodwood Revival! I have a new dress, I’ve had my hair done and I am feeling great! We always look forward to this treat every year and I will be making a beeline to the dancing and people watching, whilst the boys enjoy the racing. I do watch some racing and love walking around the paddocks too, but I just love soaking up the atmosphere and appreciating everyone’s efforts with their outfits.
After such a wonderful day, I know it will be a very sombre day tomorrow and I will be planting myself in front of the television to relax and watch the funeral.
Our sale rail collapsed under the strain last week (I had my wrist slapped by Ian for overloading it!). Poor Lyn had to temporarily rescue the situation until Ian finished work and was able to get across to make the repair. This prompted me to take the summer sale items away and we have had a little reshuffle, spreading out the new stock and decluttering the rails.
Just when I thought I was getting on top of the new stock situation, four boxes of Mudd and Water stock arrived! I am awaiting the official photographs to add to the website but I might just take some temporary ones myself so I can get them listed for you.
Finally, here is an image of one of the latest arrivals from Adini – definitely a light autumn weight as I have this dress and was able to wear it in the shop this week. However, I think with long boots, thick tights and a jacket or cardigan, it will also take you through winter.
