Well it’s been a week of foggy mornings here. My alarm clock has been overpowered by the fog horns in the Solent! It’s been freezing fog too – I ran George to school a couple mornings as he had photography work to bring back and forth which he couldn’t manage on his bike, and I had to de-ice the car! That was a bit of shock for me, but I can’t really complain too much, as Ian, of course, is up and out of the house much earlier and quite often has to de-ice before he leaves.
I have been very cosy on my walks around The Millpond though, wearing my new Marble coat and my Pachamama hat and handwarmers. I love them!
On Tuesday we had to renew our shop door lock – it had been slowly becoming more difficult to turn and I had visions of either being locked in or worse still, locked out of the shop. I used Checkatrade to find a local locksmith, who I must say were excellent. They appeared within two hours of being called and renewed the lock there and then. What a difference!
I’ve added some more items to the sale all at least 30% off and with the colder weather, the boots are attracting more attention with 20% off all footwear.
No sign of any new stock yet, but I have all the images ready and waiting to post it onto the website as soon as it arrives. Hopefully it won’t be too long. Here’s a taster of one of the new Marble v neck jumpers heading our way – it is also coming in blues.
Politics is not a sensible subject to get into, but I do feel that it’s time for Boris to jump before he’s pushed. I hope all politians are learning from his mistakes – they sit in a position of trust and integrity and they need to practice what they preach. They should all be squeaky clean and if they are not, then they don’t deserve to be there – my goodness, these clowns are making decisions which affect our lives and how our country is run. And as for Prince Andrew, don’t get me started! And then there is Djokovic……
Have a good week, take care, look out for each other and be kind.
Sending you lots of love, good health and best wishes.
