We have a new team member!! And I’m afraid to say, it’s another Karen!! Double trouble! Seriously, the new Karen who we will call KC, is absolutely great, and I think you will love her. She is enthusiastic and has a warm, friendly way with people. You may even know her, or certainly recognise her as she lives in Emsworth.
As you know we will eventually be losing Annie, and we were getting prepared for a spell of absence from Lyn, who remarkably, had a phone call on Thursday arranging for her knee operation appointment, for this coming Friday! This is great news for Lyn to get fixed before Christmas and we’ll certainly miss her, so KC will be straight in at the deep end! Annie is staying with us until Lyn is back and in the meantime, KC will cover Lyn’s Fridays and Saturdays. So please be patient as Karen will be nervous and will probably struggle to find the stock until it all becomes more familiar to her.
I was pleased with how the windows came together this week – some fabulous new stock to display, and it looks like the weather might be turning more autumnal this week.
Speaking of which, check out these Caprice, showerproof boots! I sold a pair this week and the customer said how comfortable they were so she just had to have them – I only did a small order of the white but we also have them in black.
Lyn has done a great job on her last two days, packing away the rest of the summer clothing and sorting and folding, getting us all organised, so we had better make sure it’s all in order before she returns!
Finally, I want to wish Lyn all the best for Friday and she’ll know we’ll all be thinking of her and wish her a speedy recovery. I’d also like to wish KC good luck, welcome aboard and I hope you’re excited to get started on Friday.
