I decided to switch over to the new season this week, which called for a good cleaning of the windows before dressing it with new stock. I am pleased to say that they are certainly getting noticed, which is fantastic!
The weather has definitely cooled this week so I guess it’s no surprise that the jumpers have started selling – and some boots! We have more boots heading our way, so our next job will be taking away all of the summer footwear.
It’s always a difficult decision to put away the summer sale stock and completely switch across to new season – I don’t like this transition period. However, the website sale page will still have all the items displayed and if there is anything you need for holidays, always ask me and I’ll be happy to bring things in, or you can order online. Of course the forecast is now sunshine ahead!!
Our best seller this week is this super Marble cowl neck, batwing jumper in gorgeous sea foam, black and grey. We already only have sizes 10-14 left! It would look great with some of the grey or black Robell needlecord trousers.
You may have seen our advertisement for a new member of staff – unfortunately we are losing Annie, our “girl Thursday”. We are looking for someone who can not only work six hours on a Thursday, but, perhaps more importantly, have flexibility to cover short notice sickness and holidays. Lyn is awaiting a knee operation anytime and we need help on Fridays and Saturdays, for maybe 8 weeks, so if this is you, please get in touch!
It was lovely to get George home on Monday night – a long wait and a late night for us all. We missed him and the house is now back to noise and chaos!!
