KC worked her first day on Friday, and had a really good day. I was on stand by just in case she couldn’t find things or needed some support, but I didn’t need to worry, she had it all under control. She will now be working Fridays and Saturdays until Lyn is back, so do call in and see her if you are passing. Annie and I are still working our usual days.
Lyn’s operation went very well on Friday. She has already been up and about walking with a frame and enjoying being waited on for a few days until she will be allowed home. Hopefully, that’s the worst bit over.
I’ve gradually been taking away the remaining summer footwear and replacing it with winter boots and shoes – as usual, some sizes are limited but we still have a few more deliveries due from Caprice any day now.

Also, reviews are so important – if you search for us on Google, there is an option to leave a review which would be so helpful. I don’t wish to sound desperate but I just don’t want to find us in the same position as last year!
We have such a great selection this winter. My Marble rep persuaded me to buy some of their jeans this year and I must say, they have been doing well. I have a pair myself and they are so comfortable – unlike Robell, they do have a zip, pockets and belt hooks. They have four way stretch which is why they are so comfortable, and they come in this 7/8th length (which may be full length on many of you!). I only have them in this sandblasted indigo colour to try for now. So if you are in the market for new jeans, check them out on our new arrivals page.
Oh yes, I almost forgot we have also taken delivery of the fabulous Normann raincoats which I only did in Navy blue this year and we’ve already sold out of size 14, so if you were waiting for these, do drop by – I will try and get them on to the website asap. Again, I had to have one, and it looks great with my new Caprice boots – I’ll be completely showerproof this year!
