It’s officially Christmas month – so here we go folks!  I’ve been up in the loft and retrieved the Christmas decorations.  It’s time to start thinking about gifts, food and gatherings.
We were launched into the festive mood on Thursday evening when we were at the Xmas Xtravaganza Shopping Night at The Old Thorns Hotel in Liphook.
It was beautifully dressed for Christmas and we had warm mince pies and there was festive music which created a lovely atmosphere.
The footfall was a little disappointing, but we did make a few sales and chatted to everyone about the shop – I won the raffle and tombola!  It was a lot of work getting organised and packed up but I feel I have to try these things – you learn each time, and I would certainly take different things along with me if I were to do it again.  It was all the better having Lyn by my side, and of course my husband who helped with the heavy work!  He enjoyed the mince pies with his pint.
Speaking of Lyn, I am pleased to say that she was back at the helm in the shop yesterday – she has returned a week earlier than originally arranged, because poor KC has been struck down with covid!
If you are looking for inspiration for some small gifts or even a new pair of boots, please remember us and shop local if you can!  We’ve topped up on some jewellery and scarves which make great little stocking fillers.
This Adini Imani dress is perfect for the party season, in orange/red/blue velvet – one of those reliable dresses you know you can just pull out of the wardrobe and it look great without you having to think too much about what to wear!
Until next week, take care of each other and be kind.
