I just can’t believe how quiet we have been this December. At this rate it’s going to be really tough getting through to January, as December is a short month for us. There are now only 9 more opening days until Christmas.
We really need you! A good rally up until Christmas will help, and then I’ll worry about what comes after that in the New Year. The £30 sequin festive tops were so popular that I managed to get more, so we have a snowflake in teal or navy, and champagne glasses or hearts in black. These are one size and fit up to a size 18.
I haven’t been able to get images in time to add these to the website but here is one of the teal snowflake so that you get the idea.
I topped up with a very small order of Miss Milly necklaces which are so pretty and make perfect gifts – all priced at around £20. Oh yes, and some more magnetic brooches at £14.85, as well as some £20 scarves for when you are shopping on a budget.
Of course our Pachamama range of hats, headbands and handwarmers make perfect gifts.
The Caprice ankle boots I mentioned last week arrived on Friday! They are really nice so if new boots are on your Christmas wish list, call by and take a look. I’ll get them on the website very soon.
It’s quite remarkable that when you feel like you are trying to push blancmange uphill, out of the blue I received a letter form our local MP, Alan Mak. It was to advise me that Karen George was nominated by residents as part of his 2025 Awards project for Small Business and Community. There is no winner, just recognition for small businesses in the community.
That was a really nice surprise to open when I needed a bit of a lift, so thank you to everyone who may have nominated us! I have a certificate which I will display in the shop with pride.
Please shop and support local. Take care of each other, be kind, and I really hope to see you soon!
Our website is available for online orders, click and collect and delivery.
