December is here and you’d think we would be really busy wouldn’t you? Well it is quite the opposite – it’s been a dismal week. Saturday was our best day but the rest was pretty awful.
I hope it is simply down to timing and that we’ll have a cracking run up to Christmas – I am worried though. I wish it wasn’t like this every December/January – I tried really hard to ensure it wouldn’t be like this again this year, and that I’d have a buffer, so that I could enjoy Christmas and not worry about cashflow.
I know we have limited sizes on some goods. I did invest in some Christmas tops which are just £30 and come in a variety of sequin snowflakes, hearts, champagne flutes etc – they are fun, only lightweight so you’d need an underlayer with them.
If you are looking for ankle boots we have four more styles coming from Caprice – they estimate delivery a week tomorrow. This cognac/navy colour combination is always popular – also coming in all cognac. Two other boots with a small block heel are the other styles coming, one in navy, and one in black. So if you’d like any reserved just let me know.
On Tuesday my Cream and Orientique rep arrived with the collections for next autumn – wow – so much to choose from and customers were coming in and expressing interest already – a few more ladies joined the email list so that they will be the first to know when it all arrives. I’m very excited as there was some really nice wool jumpers, evening tops, jackets, coats and dresses. I just hope we can make it to next Autumn!!!
