My week back started well – a really busy Monday despite the heat, quieter on Tuesday and dead on Wednesday!! The rest of the week was “reasonable”. It is noticeable that the afternoons are quiet and I guess we have Wimbledon to thank for that!
Great weather for Wimbledon so far and I have been able to get a good amount of gardening done too, which was long overdue.
Our son George is off on an Outward Bound course at the Lakes next week with his work, it is all part of of his apprenticeship for team building etc. He then arrives home on Friday and flys off on a boys holiday to Zante in Greece for a week!! Of course we’ll worry ourselves silly but he is 19 and has to find his own way I guess. I’m sure he’ll have a great time and I hope he does, so long as he stays safe.
