We’ve had a good week for business and our Summer Sale has been a great success so far. Sizes have really diminished, but not completely! We still have a good selection of bargains to be snapped up before the new season starts arriving!
I was very lucky to get invited along to the first day of the Qatar Goodwood Festival on Tuesday. Sadly I wasn’t as successful as last year, but I enjoyed it all the same – it was a scorching hot day and I was grateful that we had Members tickets to take advantage of designated parking and a lovely restaurant with fantastic views of the racecourse. It really is a beautiful setting and on such a lovely day lived up to its “Glorious Goodwood” title.
My mother-in-law has been really struggling this week, bless her. She has some truly fantastic friends who have helped rally around and help out. It has been so tiring for my father-in-law to manage single handedly and we are all so grateful for their help.
We’ve received confirmation that she has an L1 fracture as well as a lot of swelling and bruising inside and out which is proving to be very painful. An appointment has been made at the fracture clinic in 6 weeks time, but it seems it is just going to take time to heal.
We are off to view the Adini Summer 2025 collection tomorrow night which we are all looking forward to, and I’ve already placed my Caprice order – how do you like the look of these sandals? They will be coming in navy, beige or pink and have three velcro adjustable straps. I thought they were much less clumpy as some previous styles and more feminine. Just thought I’ve give you a little glimpse of selections for next summer.
