This week I have been rearranging and organising.
All of our footwear is now organised making it is easier to find, and Lyn came in on Thursday and helped me to stock check all of our Robell trousers. This is definitely a two handed job, and we now have an updated stocklist which I have been able to update onto the website. If I can obtain images, I should be able to add more onto the site too. It has been quite a theraputic exercise.
Good news – I’ve been advised that our Caprice footwear order is on the way. So all of my reorganising will be short lived!! Oh well, I’m sure we’ll manage.
I also met with the rep who sells Orientique. This is probably a brand that you will have heard of. It’s very colourful, using organic cottons, sustainable rayons, and linens sourced from some of the world’s finest mills. It is an Australian brand which you’ll often see worn by Jane McDonald on her travel programs. This clothing is popular with cruisers and holiday makers.
The rep is so confident that I will do well with the brand, that he offered me a “sale or return” deal. He has put together a collection of his best sellers for me to try which will arrive in February. I have nothing to lose! I must say it does all look lovely and I am quite excited to trial it. I have a catalogue where I have marked the styles and sizes which are coming, so if you are interested and would like to take a look, pop in and ask to see it.
Finally, who doesn’t love a crisp white shirt? I’ll leave you with this one from Marble. It is 100% cotton, has a patch pocket and silver buttons – great on it’s own or as an underlayer.
