The shop was really busy on Tuesday and Wednesday – I think everyone came out to get their shopping done before the storm hit.  Thankfully, we survived pretty unscathed without damage, unlike some of those poor souls – did you see the footage from Guernsey?
The rest of the week was quiet thanks to the heavy rainfall.  Speaking of which, we have sold almost all of our raincoats!
As you know, I was in London last weekend – it was a great trip.  The Dungeons were fun and we were lucky enough to get seats to see The Jersey Boys – Ian and I love that music and we thoroughly enjoyed it.  Very talented singers, it really was fab.  We also squeezed in a treat at The Ivy Asia. That was absolutely delicious and the surroundings are just stunning.
Lots of the shops have already started dressing their windows for Christmas!  I took lots of photos – I thought this was a great idea by Fortnum & Mason using their windows as an advent calendar.  I assume they will display each one as a countdown during December so this is currently a work in progress – isn’t it pretty?
For now, let’s get Fireworks night out of the way before we concentrate on Christmas – have fun if you are going to any displays, I hope it doesn’t turn out to be too much of a damp squib!
Have a great week, look out for each other and be kind.
