Lyn reported how lovely it was to see all the children taking part in the Emsworth Angel Trail this weekend, and to add to the excitement, Santa was in town!  The Baptist Church made a template of an angel for children to decorate which were displayed in local shop windows.  The children then had to follow the trail to find at least ten, to win a prize.   Our Angel was aptly named Karen and she was decorated in blue glitter – perfect, my favourite colour!  I thought this was a lovely idea, so well done to those who organised this event.

Wasn’t it fantastic that the first Covid vaccines were given in the UK this week.  Congratulations to Margaret Keenan and William Shakespeare no less!  Hopefully this is just the beginning of a brighter future.  I think we have all learned lessons from this experience, the important things in life, slowing down, appreciating each other and how precious life is.  Without our health, we have nothing – thank goodness for our NHS and all those front line workers and volunteers.

I had some lovely feedback from a customer this week who said that she enjoys reading my emails and looks forward to receiving them!  I was touched, and pleased to know that at least someone is reading them – ha ha!

Not many more shopping days to go now – remember if you are stuck for ideas we do sell vouchers.

We will be open until Christmas Eve and then closed until Saturday 2nd January 2021 and will continue to fulfill online orders throughout.

Stay safe, sending you lots of love, good health and best wishes.
