I love hearing stories from our customers, it is part of the fun of having the shop for me. We have a variety of conversations, funny, happy, sad and some are not afraid to give their honest opinion! Sometimes I feel like the local agony aunt – but I truly don’t mind – it’s all part of being part of a community and I’ve built some lovely relationships.
I worked on Saturday this week which was actually a nice change because you see different faces – it was the Farmer’s Market too so there was a buzz about town.
I met visitors from Winchester, Waterlooville, Locks Heath, Chichester, Bosham as well as Emsworth to name just a few. I was pleased with the response from a lady who exclaimed how nice it was to receive a warm welcome having had a negative experience from another boutique during the week – whereas we greet our customers with hand sanitizer, the freedom to browse, and to try on footwear and clothing confidently. Incidentally we are still happy to make private appointments outside of normal shop hours 10am – 3pm if this is your preference.
I took the opportunity to record a video whilst I was at the shop on Saturday, showing off our lovely cotton Marble v-neck jumpers which I have loaded onto our Facebook and Instagram platforms. The image below is mint with navy spots, also comes in pink with brown spots which was in our window last week priced at £55 and you can of course order from the website.
