The forecast was definitely correct! I’ve been wearing my layers this week and had to get in to the loft to retrieve the electric fire for the shop. What a radical change!
I’m pleased to say it has been a lovely week – I had hoped this would happen with the change in weather. Trousers, jumpers and the Pachamama range have all been selling well.

Last week I mentioned I was away for a little treat—well, here’s the story! Last year, we took part in the Christmas Extravaganza at Old Thorns Hotel in Liphook, and I entered a raffle. I won a prize and chose a spa break for two! I honestly thought it was just a spa day, but it turned out to be a full experience: a 35-minute treatment each, an evening meal, an overnight stay, and a delicious breakfast!
My husband and I took full advantage: a raw coconut scalp massage, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, pool, and even a night in the cocktail bar. Our room was so comfortable—a perfect way to recharge. (Although my husband would have much preferred hitting the golf course!) Everything was free except drinks, and it was simply fantastic.
