Happy Easter! I do hope you are enjoying the long weekend — I shall be busy today with all the family coming for an Easter feast, which I’m very much looking forward to.
It’s been a quieter week in the shop, which is perhaps to be expected with the Easter holidays, but behind the scenes I have been anything but quiet! I’ve been up and down the loft at home, in and out of the car, bringing down summer footwear and packing away winter boots — it’s been quite the workout, but so satisfying to get everything organised for the new season.
As part of that, I’ve sorted through lots of last pairs which are now neatly organised by size and all reduced to half price — so do pop in and have a browse, you might just find yourself a bargain.
A huge thank you as well for your support with our Bra Bank — it was absolutely bursting and has now been collected. It’s such a worthwhile cause and I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to donate.
We did have a slight hiccup this week… I managed to knock the card machine off the desk and break it! Thankfully I had a backup, which worked perfectly — until we had a local network outage and suddenly couldn’t take payments at all. Not ideal! Everything is now sorted, but thank you so much for your patience if you were affected — it really was appreciated.
On a brighter note, I was delighted when a customer spotted the bright pink crops in the window, came in to try them on, and with a little encouragement from her husband (who loved the top too!), left with the whole outfit. Proof, if ever it were needed, that the windows really do work!
We’ve also had a small but lovely delivery of kaftans, beach bags and summer hats — all very pretty and well priced, and perfect for holidays.
Now all we need is a little more sunshine to match the shop, because it really is looking beautifully colourful. If you love print and colour, you will be spoilt for choice — and this dress is a perfect example, one of my favourites this week.
