It has been spookily quiet again, but then it is Halloween on Friday!!
School holidays are also here again – that comes around quick (unless you are a teacher, I’m sure!).
Five boxes of Caprice were delivered on Monday and these are all on the New Arrivals page of the website. You can also easliy search “Caprice” and all of our Caprice stock will appear. This little trainer, come ankle boot, is a good option for walkers – it is TEX treated i.e. showerproof and it has two zip fastenings as well as the laces for secure fitting. The two zips are brilliant for people with a high instep. We only have these available in this taupe metallic colour.
I arrived at the shop on Thursday to find decorators rubbing down and repairing the woodwork at the front of the shop – you’ve no idea how long we’ve been waiting for this to happen. The exterior has been a complete embarrassment for years and we have had to press and press the maintenance company to get it sorted. We’d hoped that because the woodwork is so rotten that it might get replaced with UPVC but the council wouldn’t allow that. That that was a further delay.
Anyway, they are coming back tomorrow to repaint the door – not very well planned because they painted it whilst the carpenter was still working, and all the dust stuck to the paint! School boy error! We will still be open for business – the door will be wide open for the painting so I’ll probably be wearing my coat all day.
