Wow, it doesn’t seem possible that I flew back from Scotland on Monday and here we are a week later already! It was so lovely to be up there again and George thoroughly enjoyed his trip to Murrayfield to see Oasis.
Speaking of time passing quickly, we will soon be taking delivery of the Autumn/Winter stock. Consequently, we have now further reduced the summer stock by at least 30% off and 20% off full price footwear. It’s no secret that business has been tough and I had hoped that our summer season would have been much stronger, but sadly this has not been the case. I have therefore been considering ways to make savings, as every penny will help. I am very careful at making savings absolutely everywhere that I can, and other than cutting back on my ordering, the only other option is to cut down on manpower. So we are having a little shuffle. I will now be working Monday – Thursday, Karen will work Fridays and Lyn on Saturdays. This is a small saving and is the obvious first step I need to take. If this is not enough, I may need to reduce even further but I am really hoping this will not be necessary. We are clinging on by our fingernails, the High Street is suffering so please support us if and when you can.
This was one of my favourite jumpers this season. I have worn and worn it – with layers it will also see me through the winter. In the sale it has reduced from £51 to now just £35.70. Bargain!
